Stacy

Nestled along the Sunrise River in Chisago County, Minnesota, Stacy is a city that offers a blend of small-town living and convenient access to the Twin Cities metropolitan area. The population, which was 1,456 at the 2010 census, has seen a steady increase, reaching 1,703 by 2020. The community's main thoroughfare is Interstate 35, which serves as a vital route for the many residents who commute for work.

Stacy's history is rooted in its establishment as a post office in 1873, with the city officially platted two years later in 1875. It was named after Dr. Stacy B. Collins, an early settler in the area. The city's geography encompasses 3.58 square miles, consisting primarily of land with a small portion of water.
